Practical Information For Today's Christian Woman

Did you know that the Word of God is powerful force that can heal your body, restore your marriage, protect your family, and get your electric bill paid? As a child of God, you have the privilege of accessing this power and changing those things in your life that are not God’s will.

One of my favorite books is Scripture Keys for Kingdom Living.  In this book, the author, June Davis lays out a plan of action to overcome any problem or issue – specific Bible verses repeated 3 times each, 4 times a day for a prescribed period of time.

Here are 3 steps to get this process working in your life:

1. Decide what scripture verses best apply to your situation.  Ask the Holy Spirit for help and use a Bible promise book or a concordance.  The Scripture Keys for Kingdom Living book is also a great resource to find appropriate verses for your particular situation.

2. Write the scriptures on a 3 x 5 index card.  As you write them out, personalize them. For example, if you are using Psalms 34: 10, you could say “Because I seek the Lord, I do not lack any good thing.”

3. Repeat these scriptures 3 times each, 4 times a day until you get your answer.  As you speak them out, reverence the Word and get excited. Expect results.

God’s Word is so powerful, it created the whole universe and everything in it. You have access to this same power!  Start speaking God’s word out of your mouth in faith and allow God to work on your behalf.

Note: As you go through this process, you may be impressed to do or change certain things. For example, if you have diabetes you might have the thought, “I need to you quit eating so much junk food” or perhaps you are having financial challenges and as you listen to your pastor teach on Malachi 3, you realize that tithing is an important component to your financial success.  God wants you to be successful-so anything he is asking you to do will end up benefiting you.
