Ephesians 3:20: How to Activate the Power of God in Your Life

June 4th, 2009 by Lorene Troyer
If you are a born again child of God, you have access to unlimited power. According to Ephesians 3:20, God can do exceeding abundantly above all that you can ask or think but…it’s according to the power that works in you. Did you know it is possible to walk around with the power of God on the inside of you and never use it or activate it?

The power of God will not work in your life automatically. It must be activated with your faith.
Having faith means that you are fully persuaded about something and are convinced of its reality. You can acquire the confidence that Ephesians 3:20 is true by meditating on it.

One of the meanings for the Hebrew word for meditate is to mutter. Over and over again, repeat to yourself, “The power of God is working in me.” Keep saying it and imagine how things will change when it manifests in your life. Personalize it by speaking what you need it to do for you.

For example, you might say, “The power of God is working in me to…. give me wisdom concerning every situation in my life, strengthen me, cause me to be an overcomer, help me be a blessing to other people etc.”

As a child of God, you have tremendous power available to you, but it must be activated. Start saying it and believing it and allow this power to work in you.
